Major Gifts
As the demand for the latest medical technology and finest medical care increases, Monmouth Medical Center has an even greater need to receive significant funds through Major Gifts ($5,000 or more) for capital improvements, equipment, programs or restricted endowments.
An example of capital improvement at Monmouth made possible through a Major Gift is the 2007 dedication of the Morgan E. Cline and Benjamin R. D’Onofrio Emergency Services Pavilion. This crucial service was dedicated in honor of the extraordinary gift of the Middletown philanthropists whose $3 million donation is funding improvements that will ease the admission process and cut down on waiting time and provide technological support that will allow staff to spend more time with patients.
Another example of the power of philanthropy is the newly renovated Lewis M. and Judith Ann Eisenberg Family Center, which added 32 private postpartum suites that provide homelike accommodations for women recovering from childbirth and their newborns, as well as a new labor and delivery unit.
The Cranmer Ambulatory Surgery Center opened in April 1999 and is offering patients state-of-the-art same-day surgical services in one convenient location. The one-story, 19,000 square foot facility features four operating room suites, a spacious post-anesthesia care unit and a recovery lounge as well as a full array of amenities specifically designed for children including pre- and post-operative rooms, a playroom and child life services.
Those who want to financially support Monmouth's ongoing commitment to offering the highest quality of patient care can provide perpetual income to endow such programs as graduate medical education and nursing education programs with a major gift. These programs allow Monmouth to sustain its position as the leading academic medical center in the region.
By making a major gift, donors can help Monmouth Medical Center offer our community state-of-the-art health care. Major gifts can be pledged over five years and/or fulfilled through payments of cash or appreciated property such as stock.
