Morgan E. Cline and Benjamin R. D’onofrio Emergency Services Pavilion at Monmouth Medical Center
Monmouth’s Morgan E. Cline and Benjamin R. D’Onofrio Emergency Services Pavilion is led by a team of board-certified emergency medicine physicians. Monmouth’s Emergency Department offers comprehensive care to the acutely and chronically ill. The hospital’s Emergency Department — which handles more than 46,000 annual visits — also offers a pediatric emergency department led by physicians board-certified in both pediatrics and pediatric emergency medicine that provides an environment that is physically more appealing to the children who comprise about one-third of the hospital’s emergency volume. The Pavilion’s Express Care Center gives patients faster access to treatment for minor emergencies and health problems.
In 2006, local philanthropists impressed with the treatment they received at Monmouth Medical Center's Emergency Department made a joint $3 million donation to the hospital. The Morgan E. Cline and Benjamin R. D’Onofrio Emergency Services Pavilion at Monmouth Medical Center was named in honor of the Middletown residents who directed their gift to benefit the hospital's Emergency Department.
