Behavioral Health Services
In 1950, Monmouth Medical Center unveiled Pollak Mental Health Services, the first outpatient mental health clinic in the county, and today the outpatient service offers a full range of behavioral health services. Monmouth has the largest psychiatric program in the county. Monmouth’s newly renovated Psychiatric Emergency Screening Service is the designated such service for Monmouth County, and Children's Crisis Intervention Service is the area's only state-designated program for the inpatient treatment of children and adolescents with acute emotional, behavioral or psychiatric problems.
